Tech companies join hands to support Chennai

Indeed a city in our nation is at great suffering at the moment and any kind of a support and help can actually makes wonders and help the people stuck by the natural calamity to a great extent, while the situation there is highly emotional and disturbing, with people having lost their loved ones and their homes, directing them to the streets all full of water with no food or water.
Telecom operators have offered free talktime and data whereas companies like Paytm, Zomato along with ola are also offering their help and support.

*BSNL would not charge its users anything for the complete week in Tamil Nadu.

*None of the connections would be disconnected looking at the scenario that is tough for people to make their bill payments these days.

*Airtel has declared to offer an auto credit of Rs. 30 talk time and free cost credit worth Rs.10 , while the subscribers would call Airtel to Airtel.

*Reliance along with Vodafone also have similar schemes as heir bit in order to support in such a situation.

*Paytm has offered Rs.30 recharge absolutely free, while the people are required to call upon 1800-103-0033 and mention their mobile numbers any time they would like to top-up.

*Zomato has rolled out a personal service for offering food, called the “Meal for Flood relief”. Once a customer would buy a meal for anyone in Chennai, Zomato would add another meal for them and send it in the area where people have been struggling in the water. Meal for one person is kept at a relatively low price of Rs100, meal for 2 at Rs 200, while you can book to arrange a meal for 100 people by paying Rs 5000.

*Ola cabs is at the moment working closely with the fire fighting unit in order to fetch out people who stuck at eh various parts of the city due to the heavy rains.
